About Our League:
BBT Athletics has partnered with NFL Flag Football and USA Football to provide youth the opportunity to experience the fast-paced nature of football in a non-contact environment. The partnership grants BBT Athletics NFL Flag Football unique benefits to offer our program participants including: NFL jerseys, health and insurance coverage, USA Football Memberships, and USA Football Certifications.
To our parents and guardians, your child’s safety is paramount at BBT Athletics. Please know ALL coaches, referees, and volunteers are required to pass national and state background checks. Our coaches are held to the highest standards for coaching credibility and safety. We provide training through the USA Football Coaches Certification Program and National Youth Sports Coaches Association on topics such as nutrition and hydration, injury and concussion prevention, and conditioning and stretching. Again, our partnership with NFL Flag Football and USA Football provides health and accident insurance coverage. We will also ask for confidential feedback about our coaches from parents and participants twice per season. Lastly, rest assured your child’s personal information is safe in our registration software and website. We do not share children’s information with anyone, we do not store credit card information and passwords are encrypted so no one inside or outside of our organization can view them. You can be confident your personal information is secure on our software.
BBT Athletics strives to provide your child a fun, safe, positive environment to grow and develop physically and mentally. Your child will be treated with dignity and respect as they are coached and encouraged to PLAY! Practices and games are designed to provide challenges requiring your child to “step outside of their comfort zone” in order to maximize their potential and boost confidence. Our coaches will emphasize "teamwork" to promote trust, selflessness, and appreciation for diverse personalities. Participants will learn about the game of football through weekly practices and games.
