This is our daughter's first Back to School shopping experience! She starts Kinder after Labor Day! With that said, I knew our little fashionista would be needing some cute, stylish but durable clothes for the school year. The first store that came to my mind was the OshKosh store!! And I knew I was in luck, because there is a location in the Citadel! The Citadel Outlets Los Angeles.
When we arrived at the OshKosh store we were instantly greeted by their store manager! Jorge was absolutely amazing! He helped us when ever we needed a certain size, we could not find on the floor. Now, if you have a little fashionista like I do, you will know that Unicorns are ALL the rage!! That makes my inner 80's child happy!! Now look at those statement sleeves! Super cute to pair with leggings, a denim skirt or jeans! You could even rock this with the adorable skirts they carry with tights! Endless possibilities for mix-n-match fun!! And cats!! Since we live in Southern California, it's warm most of the year. We were excited to find some cute rompers! Our daughter loves rompers, with matching shoes and a cardigan if it gets cool. She also loves dresses and we found some adorable dresses with a perfect length for school. She can also wear leggings under them when it gets cooler. The mix-n-match options at OshKosh make it easy! Our check out was super swift and we had the BEST shopping experience at the Citadel OshKosh store! The staff was attentive, helpful and very cheerful. We can not wait to go back!!
The next day our little fashionista wanted to model a few of her Back to School must haves!! First up is a super cute statement tee with the slogan "One Smart Cookie" paired with her new favorite Skimmer Short. A school length fave! They even have the cutest little cat faces on them. Very incognito but with a fashion flair. Pair this combo with cute sneaks and a bow, and you are ready to go!! We highly recommend the Skimmer Shorts!! Next up is the BEST leggings ever!! Paired with a cute graphic tee!! She loved the matching stripe pattern on the pocket, with a little cat peeking out!! She paired this with a bow and cute flats! Perfect for playground fun!! You can take it a step further and add the tulle skirts at OshKosh. And the cutest Unicorn dress!! Perfect length and a great durable material. This can go from the classroom to the park with no issues at all. Perfect for dinner out with the family too. A great go to staple!!
One of things I LOVE most about this brand, is their dedication to children! Kids are encouraged to believe in themselves and to #beyourself !! I love to see my child's personality shine through with her originality and personality. They can still be in a school uniform, but have personality and flair.
