Have you ever wanted to host a Foreign Exchange student?
We have students from Brazil, China, Japan, Mexico, Germany, France, Vietnam, and Thailand. They typically come for the entire school year. However, some come for a semester.
The students are high school students that come with their own money and insurance. They come for the school year to be immersed with your family and experience being an American teenager. Volunteer host families provide a bedroom and 3 meals per day (not including if they choose to buy a school lunch) and help them with transportation (taking bus, walking, riding bike, or rides with friends included!)
Hosting these kids is a life-changing experience. They become a part of the family, are immersed in family activities, chores, etc. You truly gain a new son or daughter and stay in touch for many years to come. Lots of host families end up visiting them in their home countries eventually too!
