Have you ever seen magic left over from a rainstorm? Have you ever walked in a forest and thought you saw something little and enchanting out of the corner of your eye? Do you believe in Faeries? As children we believed in magic and knew in our hearts there was something enchanting out there, hidden, kind, beautiful, and filled with goodness.   Do you remember these feelings? This yearning? If so, you too may have glimpsed Faeryland.

A Faery Hunt shows are interactive performances designed for young audiences and their families to inspire creativity, imaginations and fun. Almost weekly, the winner of the Nickelodeon's Parents' Pick Award for "Best Children's Theater in Los Angeles," named “Best of Hollywood” by the Hollywood Reporter, named “Best of LA” by LA Parent and Los Angeles magazine, A Faery Hunt takes children and their families on an interactive theatrical experience moving through clearings in open spaces.  Taking place in forests and parks and walking through the grounds, A Faery Hunt has been enchanting audiences in Southern California for the past 15 years. A few times a year A Faery Hunt comes indoors at the Sunset Theatre Company in Redondo Beach. Seasonal shows are also performed yearly at Los Angeles County Arboretum and Botanic Garden, Celebrate Israel, and McCabe's Guitar Shop.

With the help of the faery folk, the children and their families go to Fairyland and embark on magical interactive adventures. In a gentle and fun way, the audience actually becomes part of each story. The shows are for children, boys and girls, and the young-at-heart. Most of the children come in costume. There is something for the whole family in the interactive original shows. The tales carry simple life-messages including kindness, forgiveness, respect for nature, keeping a positive attitude, love for one another and to have fun.
