In a unique event, Your City Safari will offer people in Southern California a chance to take their families out of the house to participate in a safe, free, fun, interactive activity. Your City Safari is the second in a series of community wild animal safaris that people can experience from the safety of their cars. The scavenger hunt-like activity will feature more than 12 wild animal stations that have larger-than-life inflated animals, trivia, prizes, and sponsor specials.
The Monrovia, California, Your City Safari will run 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. on June 12, 2020, through June 14, 2020. The safari maps will be available during these dates by visiting www.yourcitysafari.com.

There will be amazing new surprises at this second safari, including some new animalsand the first ever drive through photo booth with green screen technology to show participants on a real safari.
Your City Safari was developed to allow families to take a much-needed break from the Covid-19 lockdown, all in a safe, low stress way. Your City Safari can be done in as leisurely a pace as desired and lets families spend quality time on a common, fun activity.
Starting on the kick-off day, participants will be able to download a safari map that pinpoints the location of each wild animal station. They follow the map to visit each station in any order from the safety of their cars. Family members are encouraged to take photos of each location visited in order to complete a checklist to win prizes. Use of a smart cell phone with GPS capability and a camera are recommended for the best experience.
The map will show a three-block radius where each wild animal is located. Each animal will be accompanied by a sign with a secret letter in the corner. Gathering all the letters will spell out a secret code. Participants who are stuck finding an animal can ask for a hint by sending e-mail to info@yourcitysafari.com and will receive an immediate response. Participants who e-mail the completed secret code to info@yourcitysafari.com will be entered to win one of a number of prizes, including Vans shoes, restaurant gift certificates, and even sidewalk chalk. The goal is to try to make everyone a winner.
Prizes: Two ways to win:
1 ) When you locate the animal, there will be a sign next to it which have a secret letter on the corner. Write down these letters as you visit each animal. When you gather all of the letters, it will spell out a 2 word phrase. Fill out the form below with the code and you will be entered into a raffle with many winners to win a number of available prizes. Prizes may include: Vans Shoes, Gift certificates to restaurants, or even sidewalk chalk. 2 ) There will be one winner from a photo contest! Show us your best picture with a Your City Safari animal in it! The winner get’s 1 free Family Dinner at Spaghetti Eddies in Glendora & Outback Steakhouse in Azusa! You enter by submitting a photo and tagging #yourcitysafari on Instagram. A winner will be chosen and private messaged information on how to collect your prize.
The Secret Code is 11 letters, forming two words. There are two animals with no secret letters. The secret code will add up to be 2 words _ _ _ _ space _ _ _ _ _ _ _
