A Stress-Free Elf On The Shelf Holiday!

By Beth Neely, publisher of Macaroni Kid Rancho Cucamonga November 17, 2020

Do you love The Elf on the Shelf but dread the daily magical moments you have to create?

We started the tradition when our kids were little and they have always looked forward to seeing the Elf appear year after year. Every November I would sit and plan how to make “the Elf experience” fun while also making it easy for my husband and me.

This year I have heard parents saying they may just put the Elf in quarantine all month long - and while I laughed and yes, even contemplated doing this, an amazing box just happened to drop onto my lap.

What if I were to tell you that you could buy a box filled with Pinterest-perfect Elf ideas, all prepackaged, preplanned, and prepped for you? I’d even go as far as to say this box could be every parents saving grace for their Elf on a Shelf - no quarantine jar or masks needed!

All you will have to do is pull out a bag before bed, prep the elf, and you’re done! No thinking, planning, or buying anything else! Yes, it does exist and the minute I heard about this Elf kit, I couldn’t order one fast enough! I can’t keep something this good to myself, so asked the creator of this amazing box if I could help get the word out to other parents looking for Elf help this season.

Meet the creator of The Elf on a Shelf Kits, Nikkole Leivas.

Nikkole is a local stay at home mom, turned entrepreneur, who lives in San Dimas with her husband and their blended family of 5 kids, ranging from 7mo to 7 years! Her inspiration for her Elf on the Shelf kits were her kiddos who would get up every morning and rush off to see what shenanigans their Elf had gotten himself into. Some days he would move from the top of the Christmas tree to the bottom, and other days he would be stuck under a glass with a sign that said “help”. The kids would light up with excitement when the Elf was doing an activity. So when she had the time (which wasn’t often) she would plan out a fun setup and hope she had everything she needed for her idea...and this got her thinking.

What if there was something she could purchase that had all the items and activities included for their elf?

She looked around and couldn’t find what she was imagining. So, she decided to make her own and The Elf on the Shelf Kit was born!

Twenty four days of individually bagged and labeled Elf magic! She even includes detailed instructions for setup, with a welcome letter, a goodbye letter, and an incident report for the days you need your Elf to stay in one place for a couple of days. She definitely kept busy parents in mind when she planned these activities. From snowball fights, Instagram selfies, ball pits, and a cute kissing booth with treats left from the North Pole included, your kids will love waking up every day to seeing all the fun your Elf is having this year - with no mention of CoVid anywhere!

The Elf Kits are $45 each and will be available on a first-come-first-serve basis while supplies last up until November 22nd.
